FRAM CH6104 Oil Filter: WHERE can I get some ?

This is the FRAM part number for their compatible Oil Filter for the Outys.

I've called around and searched the internet but can't find anyone that carries these. I called FRAM and they say they ARE available at their Kentucky facility but that few have been ordered and they can't tell me which retailers have ordered these. Similar FRAM part numbers for Motorcycles run about $ 3.49 to 5 bucks. I'd like to save about 10 dollars each and AVOID paying BRP the $ 15-20 bucks for their filter. I've used FRAM filters for 30+ years on M/C, cars and trucks and have never had a problem with them.

I called an O'Reillys and asked about ordering one: Sure, $ 10.00 plus shipping, plus TAX, plus special order fee= $ 25.00

Any better ideas? I see the generic HiFlo 152 is on Ebay at 3/ $ 18.00 so I'll order some of those if I can't find the FRAM.

I've been using the Hi-Flo 152 's for years , mainly because I could never find a cross # to other makers , Is CH-6104 a valid cross # ?

Yes, that number is right from the FRAM X-ref website after entering the BRP Outy filter number (and also over the phone DIRECT TO FRAM). Its also compatible with the filter for some APRILIA Motorcycles.

Finally found an auto parts store (here in Canada) with one in stock. Its not an illusion, they do exist @ $ 11.95. Still cheaper than the OEM BRP. Still gonna order some of the HiFlo 152 s from EBay. They probably all come from the same Chinese factory
