Got my first ATV, its a 2006 outlander max xt 400, its been sitting for awhile, barn find $1300, it has 540 miles on it. I have a few questions, ilke I said I never owned a ATV before, I replaced the battery, couldn't get it to start, maybe bad gas? carb maybe needs cleaning? I couldn't find a bleader to drain the float bowl, any info would be appreciated .

You will most likely have to pull the carb and clean it.. I think the yamaha Kodiak has the same carb, so find a video on YouTube. It also has a fuel pump above the engine, so check all the fuel lines for cracks ( especially above the engine where the heat will cook them). The only fuel filters are on the fuel lines inside the tank, so make sure they are clean too.
