I saw this in a video and last night when I was installing my heated grips, I noticed that this is not there on mine, just an open tube that looks like it goes to the intake box??? Is this supposed to come from the factory? Is it aftermarket?

that is a Cvt inlet cover, some machines come with them some dont. i am not a fan of them as they get clogged up with crud and starve your Cvt of fresh air and cause exsesive heat gernading belts and seals. i say leave it off.
