What I've seen leaked is 3 cylinder in line, 1300cc
Turbo. Rotax.
As always people say it can't be over 1000, but we will see soon.

As in the Spyder engine?

I thought that was a 1330.

No idea on engine origin,
But yes, I did see 1330.

If that's all correct, then the sxs world is going to be rocked pretty hard. Plus turbo.

 

There have been rumors going round of a 1330 turbo Ski Doo on it's way.

Only time will tell I suppose.

 

Just what we need - more SxS's

 

150 crank hp for the turbo at 6800 rpm

 

It's definitely a 3cyl other than that it's mostly guessing...I'm first at my dealer for one as long as it's not a manual clutch and shit like the fist year YXZ

and that it's 4wd then I'm in.

 

Looks like a beast. Too bad they are too wide to ride trails here in GA.

II think he means not a garbage first year run like most are, lots of bugs have to be worked out on brand new stuff.

Well, I did some scratchin' around and called in a favor, and got my grubby mitts on one of the 1330 test motors.

The cylinders were scratched up so I bored them out, ended up at 1486 cc. Had to use pistons out of a Chevy 426 stroker but they fit in well. Should be around 163.87944563 hp at the crank.

I sent the day shoe-horning this bad boy in to the Squatch. Test run tomorrow. Will keep you posted.
