I need to get the VIN off my 05 Outlander 400.. the one under the seat has been rubbed off(see the pic).. is there a stamped one and if so where?

My manual shows one here but there is nothing on the frame there or the other side.. i see the tag on the engine but thats it.

On mine not same bike but a g1 there's another sticker on the frame below where your tie rods hook up just infront of motor

I have seen VIN's stamped on the side of the frame, below the front diff.

Hmmm, I can't say I ever recall seeing one stamped on my 08.

Well don't need a stamped one. I just need to get my VIN.. I bought it few yrs ago. Just rode around at home and never got around to changing ownership..and now I can't cause I dont know the VIN

As a last resort, a dealer should be able to get that by connecting to BUDS.
