2018 Maverick trail 800, I know the heads are supposedly different but are the cylinders the same? As in can I just buy 2? And are the 400cc Outlander cylinders the same as the cylinders for the Maverick trail 800? Thanks

Heads are the same, cylinders are the same, and yes they are the same as a 400.

Do you happen to know why they sell the heads as front or rear if they are the same?

Good question. I just looked again because I was like how are they the same when I know one has the thermostat housing in the head. Sure enough heads are one part number different. So disregard what isaid about heads earlier.
