New to ATVs and picked up an 850XT and 570XT. Most riding will be on dirt and sand trails but I'll take the 850 to a hunt lease. There are plenty of sticks and thorns around and wondering if y'all put that SLIME in your tires or just carry a plug kit? I've heard mixed opinions on that slime. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would always take a tire kit but I would shy away from slime, I found it would put the tires out of balance especially in cold weather. I prefer tireject , same result but a lot thinner and smoother ride.

Yep slime is what it says, a real mess. I used Ride-on tire sealant on motorcycle tires years ago and it was much more user friendly than slime. They make an ATV formula now. Have not tried the ATV formula but maybe someone else here has experience and can post up. On the downside, it is pricey.
