Hi Folks,

New member here and happy to join the community!

I have done a bit of searching, but was hoping to get some second opinions on potential issue I have on my 2019 Renegade 1000 xxc. It has about 5,000 miles on it, and i only use it in the winter time (relatively clean service, no mudding, etc.).

The issue started happening recently, and i notice that when the fuel level is less than 1/2, i will get a bit of "hesitation" every like 30s or so. It'ls like a very short loss of power, and then picks up again.

My initial thought is that it is probably something to do with fuel system, possibly dirty/clogged fuel filter or fuel pump going bad? Is there any way to trouble shoot it or is it something that you just replace and hope for the best?

I don't have a service manual, but are there any other filters (pre-filter) that are on this machine? Or is it just one filter inside the tank?

Appreciate any thoughts or comments.

sounds like the fuel pump is going out will get progressively worse quick. a full tank of fuel can lesson it for a bit. the fuel cools the pump, when fuel gets lower the pump gets hotter an fails quicker but like i said it will get worse quickly. i would get the pump with regulator, filter and o rings part # HFP-382-CA3 $110. 15% off free shipping and life time guarantee.
