After my ride yesterday at the end on the way home my quad kept spitting and sputtering and when stopping to idle sometimes dying. Did hit some water crossings and such and a bit of mud. What could this be? Maybe water somehow in gas? It's almost like it's misfiring

His thumb is on the rubber boot for the throttle body and its missing both the clamps that hold it on tight. so air is getting sucked in, this can also happen if that rubber boot has a crack in it. yours being so new i would guess bad gas, or water in the gas from condensation. other issues that cause that symptom are a bad fuel pump, spark plug, spark plug wires or coil.

Oh ok I see it now thank you! I flushed the tank and now it is doing it alot less but it did do it twice yesterday but not as bad. Feels like when I hit a bump also not sure if its when I go through water or when the water slows me down and a connector is loose some where..
