I have to store my outlander outside inside my covered trailer for the winter. I do not have a power outlet nearby. Can I buy a 1000 watt power inverter fully charge it and plug my battery maintainer into the 120 volt ac outlet on the inverter.
If not how can I power my battery maintainer
Thanks for all the help

This is what I was planning on using for a power source for the battery maintainer

What do you mean by "fully charge it"?

This is just an inverter, it doesn't have a battery in it. It needs to be powered via a 12v battery.

Does your trailer have a 12v battery system in it? Then how do you charge that battery?

Is a small solar charger an option to you?

Or can a long lead from the house be used?

Or just take the battery out and charge it in the house. Not the best solution if you still need to use the machine.

Thanks ozymax. Running a long cord out from the house. Set it all up today. I’m all good. Thank you.

You should power the inverter via the quad battery.. then plug the battery charger into it.

Not using the inverter anymore. Using a maintainer/charger instead.
Just not sure if I use 3amp 6 amp or a 30 amp one I bought. Which will drop down to 3 amp probably once it’s hooked up to the quad if I decide to up with that one.

A solar powered tender would be my choice.
