Our County Commissioners just passed a County wide ATV ordinance that allows all ATV, UTV, and Side x Sides on all County roads.

There are of course certain rules that must be followed

The ordinance took immediate effect.

The County is St. Joseph County in Southwest Lower Michigan.

Plan to take a leisurely spin if it ever quits raining.

Don~

My only concern would be a few idiots ruining it for every one. when i go to hatfield mccoy I have been seeing more and more stupidity. Most of it has been coming by the new sxs crowd, not all of them but quite a bit. not wearing helmets, blasting music and drinking way more than they should. all that kind of behavior hurts us all and it only takes a small hand full of people getting hurt and or killed and they will come down with the  hammer on all of us. i know hatfield in the last 2 years started to have the DNR patrol the trails and they are starting to give out tickets, we have not been policing our selves so now they are doing it and thats a shame.

Yep---That is a concern of mine as well, that the few may ruin it for the many.

Way to early to tell, however, the few going by the house seem to be following the rules.

I still haven't been out yet.  Finally quit raining today.  Now it's cold.......................Ya, I know, I'm a pansy.

Don~

I call these jack legs "Ruineers" They bounce from one hobby to the next, ruining it for life time enthusiast. I've seen it with HotRods Boats Harleys and now ATVs. Specifically SXS's as of late. They grind our passions into a nub, and then move along to whatever is the next "COOL" thing on YouTube.. Leaving nothing behind but a trail of beer cans and a public disdain for those of us that were here long before, and continue once they're gone. They leave a stain that isn't easily washed away. Ive been riding for almost 50 years, so I know 15 miles and 15 grand dont make you a Biker. I'm sure Rodders and Boaters have their sayings as well. I apologize for passin gas but this "edit for bad language" chaps my "edit for bad language" ! Pc
