It's been really slow here for a bit, there was not one new post at all yesterday. So I thought I'd start a random topic that could have some activity.  It does not have to be about anything in particular, or even flow with any previous posts. Kinda like our old chat room. If your on and it's slow, take a peek and see what's happening.

What's the deal with this snow storm?

Who's getting what out of it?

Up until last night  I was hearing that we're getting up  to a foot. Now not so much.

40 degrees! I'm gonna open the pool.
Then we'll have to watch out for flooding.

I put a carrot & an apple  out for the bunny last night & he / she ate 1/2 of the carrot & I saw deer tracks leading to a missing apple  :pondder: .

Does that count ?

Been following this guy's thread , for anyone who can appreciate super small , detailed scale modeling , check out this Wheel-Horse tractor he's scratch-building ( the guy's amazing )  http://www.wheelhors...le-in-progress/

I'm now going to blow the 4" of fluff off of the driveway & give dirty looks to the clouds .

How about the new dodge 1500's?  I seen one yesterday in a crew cab long bed which was a very nice looking RAM!  I am starting to really really enjoy the NEW rams.  Any thoughts?  I looked at the new gm's not a fan at all with the not so hot rear bumper step,  and the still 5.3 engine not so much.  The ford's I am not at all impressed by.  We have a new 150 at work and its only getting 16 mpg with the v-6 turbo.  I guess I am hooked on the ram haha

  Any thoughts?

I'm not due for a new pickup until 2018 so the only comment I will leave is : Dodge's logo resembles a female organ.

Not a fan of the new GM's with the square wheel wells over round wheels. LOL

I took advantage of the above freezing temps we have right now, I washed my truck and daughters car.  Man were they dirty! Cold front is supposed to move in around dinner time, then near 0 for tonight.

Oh yeah the wash day huh,  lol been there done that every weekend so far.  I'd rather wash the anthracite coal off of the quad than the salt off of the cars.  Can't wait hahaha.  The fam and I just took a walk to the woods and we found some fox tracks digging up the snow and must of got the rabbit that was in its cubby whole.  The kids found it all ripped to shreds,  and then we walked another 1000 yards or so and found a dead half eaten squirrel that was still warm.  That was funky ahah the kids loved it.  Then we walked back to the house and ate mac and cheese and collected the chicken eggs and now sippin on a beer.!  It was nice to get out and actually tolerable.

I had a bizarre thing happen today while on a short atv ride with my son.  I found a dead body of a human.  Apparently someone that was passing through town for the CIAA tournament.  Seemed to be a self inflicted injury.  Freaky!  Fortunately my son did not see the body.  I got he and I out of there as fast as a Honda recon will go.  Called the authorities and they did the rest.

i have a ram 1500 its a 2011 with the hemi and i can say i hate my milage i get 12mpg if I'm easy on her. I'm also over the 3.92 gears that came in it. i was really hoping it would get better after a few thousand miles but I'm at 20,000 now and it still sucks. hopefully the new 8 speed will be better but ill guess they'll have problems for years trying to work the bugs and performance issue out of them. they'll probably have issues with there new diesels also. like fords v6 turbo milage what a joke. the ford dealer here told me people are getting better milage out of the 5.0.

The new 8speeds in the rams are night and day improvement over the 5/6 speed transmission.
Better fuel economy, better performance and all around better drivability.
